I would transcribe it as Johen Sledd. Final "d"s often weren't made like ones in the "middle" of a word. It is pretty clear there is a letter before the final "n" in his first name. Every other document lists him as John and I'll try and post the rest of this document later today as it's really an interesting one.
Johen Sledd is my guess.
