Yes, I debated between P and L. Tough call.
I'm siding with the Agnes L. Foster. Simply because of how she's doing her loops, I would think a P would be loop-y-er (why yes, I did just make up a word)

Agnes L. Foster. I don't think it's a P. The apparent direction of the pen stroke makes me think it's an L.
I think it is Agnes L Foster. If you start at the top of the letter and follow thru it looks like the leg of the L is short. At least that is how I would interpret it.Trisha
