I'm the County Official and the Widow Tells the Truth

This county official signed an affidavit for a Revolutionary War widow in Middlesex County, New Jersey, in the early 1800s.

  4. I think the second last word looks like 'provost' but is that the last name or does it refer to the man as a magistrate-judge? But if the latter, then what is the man's last name? This is a good one! The first word could be either Abram or Abraham.
