This looks to me as "Due faning mill" If you look at the above four lines they read" three tons of hayFour double sets of harnessAbout two thousand and five hundred Fifty bushels of oats" it's logical the way these are lined up it was an accounting of what was owed to the mill....Without seeing the rest of the document This is my best interpretation.~~Danielle~~

Looks like a list of items for inventory. I've seen lists like this in family wills as well. Since it is in a list of things you would find on a farm I agree with the 'one fanning mill'. The next item is: dishes, kives and forks ...so likely an estate inventory for a will or sale. JLK/NK56
