Not the Doctor-But the Veteran
What was the name of the Confederate veteran who signed this 1912 petition? Not the doctor on the left, but the name above the P.O. Click on the image to view it larger if you need to.
I don't see the two 'r's looking alike. It's almost like a different person wrote that last name. However Presett is a not uncommon surname, so I'll go with Presett.
The Alexander part was easy......it looks like Presett for a surname, but I'm not sure.
