One Quick Handwriting Transcription Challenge Every Day-for the genealogist in you
It is Azor :0 I have a lot of Azor's in my Quaker Stemple family :)
I think I am right about Azor :) In fact the census in 1860 Tunkhannock Pa has two Azor Stemples and the hand writing is almost identical to your photo LOL
Well...the card says it is Numa Bailey...believe it or not. Here is the card:http://genealogytranscriber.blogspot.com/2011/10/answer-to-guy-from-tigerville.html
I would never have guessed this one - cannot recall having seen this given name before. Having seen the card - all I can say is "one is never too old to learn something new".
